Part One: The new Koopa
For years Bowser, king of the Koopas had been pursuing the one single quest, to get Princess Peach to love and marry him.
His desperation had lead his armies into battles that were not beneficial to the Koopa kingdom whatsoever.
Kamek knew this; he was Bowsers top wizard and retainer of the great kingdom.
“If only Bowser would stop” he thought “and if only Peach accepted him”
He sighed, all these battles with the Mario's demoralized the troops of the kingdom and he knew that Bowser yet again was set to kidnap his beloved princess.

It was another typical day in the Mushroom Kingdom. Toads strolled the streets and played and worked the day away. The sun shined down upon the land from above, and Princess Peach watched over her kingdom from her castle. Of course, also as usual, the Princess was rather worried that Bowser would appear and trash the place, AGAIN.

Bowsette's Perfect Plan
There was ever one common element in all of Bowser's failed plan. Mario. Loathe as he was to admit it, his arch-nemesis was indeed the kind of determined, skilled and strong opponent that he simply could not beat by conventional means. Whenever he tried a scheme, kidnapped Princess Peach or became an obstacle in a larger narrative the plumber simply came in to save the day, which usually translated to him being utterly defeated. He'd jump, punch and gain whole new abilities to beat his minions and then land crushing blows to the Koopa King as Bowser would merely go on to ponder how it all went wrong and how he could do better...usually doing something similar in the end. The fact that Mario was capable and had numerous allies did not help, his determination and ease to befriend companions on his journey being further proof that Bowser had to learn his lesson: he could not beat Mario in a conventional manner. Thus, he had to go against the grain and see what exactly motivated him

This is not the end of this story, there will be at least one other chapter. That is, if you want Peach to succeed. If you think she deserved this kind of retribution, I advice you to never 'press start' and keep the story as it is, with the mushroom kingdom at peace.
Creator's commentary: I think this is one of my favourite works, with the finale of 'Necklaces of Power' and the 'forest arc' from the Corruption of Heroines as a close second. Detailing Peach's rampage through the mushroom kingdom and envisioning her rule were one of my favourite creative exercises. I am curious to hear your opinions on it.
